Players worry about Discord RPC leaking cheat info. The reality: RPC only reports game state, not memory. But Discord screen-sharing can leak software overlays.
What RPC sees
Discord RPC reads the game's reported state (map, mode, score). It cannot see cheat memory or processes. Even a software cheat is invisible to RPC itself.
- RPC only sees game-reported state
- Cannot enumerate processes
- Cannot see overlays
- Cannot read memory
Discord screenshare can leak
If you screenshare CS2 on Discord, any in-game overlay (including some software cheats) is visible to viewers. DMA renders on a second monitor — never captured by Discord on the gaming PC.
"DMA = streamproof on Discord too. Demo to see for yourself."
